Brother Knights, as you know, our council decided to use the proceeds from the November breakfast to purchase 2 cases of coats to be distributed to children attending 3 of Denver’s poorest parochial schools by Catholic Charities. Assembly 2551, made up of 4th degree knights from our council (along with 3 other councils) also bought 2 cases. If anyone wants to assist with the distribution, the information is below.
Location: Catholic Charities – 4045 Pecos Street, Denver.
Show time: 9:00 a.m. to set up.
Start time: 10:00 a.m.
End time: 2:00 p.m or until when all coats are distributed, whichever is sooner.
It’s great that we were able to help with the purchase of these coats, but actually working with the children in need is what makes the program worthwhile. I hope to see some of you there!
