What the Knights Do (Feb 13th Edition)

On February 13th Brother Knights Joseph Lagae, Brent Schuller (and John Pickard not pictured) helped out at the Samaritan House in downtown Denver with cleaning the newly renovated dormitory for homeless women. The renovation included new bunk beds and lockers, and their construction left a bit of a mess. The Knights helped put the finishing touches on cleaning the area so it will be ready to go in the near future.

Knights say “Thank You”

The Knights of Columbus Council 9597 extends to all a giant THANK YOU to the parishioners at Our Lady of Fatima and their friends and extended families for your fantastic support of our 2020 Peaches for Seminarians Donation program!  In absence of our regular peach program, the Knights received donations totaling in excess of $9,500 which will allow us to provide $500 each to 19 seminarians in their journey to become priests.

As a way of showing our appreciation for your tremendous support of our program, the Knights have a special gift for each of the donors.  You may pick up your gift anytime in the basket at the Miller St. entrance.

The Knights would also like to thank the OLF staff for all of their support, especially for accepting and processing the donations that were mailed or dropped by the church office.

The Knights are looking forward to 2021 with the anticipation for a great peach crop to be produced by the fruitgrowers in the Palisade valley in western Colorado.

Food Drive Results

A big thank you to all of the Brother Knights who were able to come out and help at the food drive today. We were able to raise over $4,000 and filled two vans with food for the Marisol Home and the Little Sister’s food pantries. Great work Brothers.
