Things the Knights have done in this fraternal year

With generous donations we were able to give a total of $2000.00 in cash and baby supplies each to Little Flower, Mary’s home for Hope, Alternatives, and Marisol Family. Through our ASAP (Aid and Support After Pregnancy) these 4 organizations will receive an additional check of $400.00 from Knights of Columbus Supreme Council. Marisol Health received a check from us for $1355.39 and will receive an additional check from Supreme Council for $200.00.
Supporting cub scouts and their pinewood derby race by handing out pinewood derby kits.
Helping the cub scouts with their race after they built their cars from St. Nick
A new track was used this year after a generous donation from a Cub Scout parent.

The Knights of Columbus are proud to announce the winners of our Keep Christ in Christmas Poster Contest. We had 72 entries this year which is the most entries that I’ve had in the 5 years of running the contest. The majority of the posters were from our 5–7-year-old having 43 total. We had 6 from the 8–10-year-olds and 23 form the 11–14-year-olds. We let our guess at the Keep Christ in Christmas dinner judge our posters. I had the honor to present all our participants with a nice certificate. The top three in each age group received not only a certificate but also a ribbon and some cash money.
Knights of Columbus has a monthly pancake breakfast that runs from September through May. Breakfasts are donations only with proceeds donated to different ministries of the Our Lady of Fatima Parish.

Exemplification and Farewell – May 24th

Brother Knights,
We will be celebrating an Exemplification on May 24th at 6:30 pm in the Parish Hall. In addition to welcoming a number of new Brothers into the Knights, we will be saying farewell to Brother Keith Mobley who is moving off to Florida. We will have hamburgers and hot dogs and some drinks afterwards and we are asking you to bring a side dish or dessert that goes with such a fine fare. The link below will take you to the sign up genius for bringing a side dish and to RSVP that you will be coming so we know how many hamburgers and hot dogs we need to prepare.

See you all on the 24th.

Vivat Jesus,
JPickard GK
