On December 12th, 7 Knights of our council gathered to clean up a stretch of 15th Place, just south of the parish.  They were blessed with beautiful weather and many hands!  Led and organized by Pete Aberle, Brother Knights Bob Boden, Stan Collins, Don Frevert, Michael Majeres, Rich Phillips, and Pat Stewart spent about 45 minutes patrolling the stretch between Miller St. and Kipling which was “adopted” by the council many years ago.  Through their efforts, 6 bags of garbage were collected and disposed of.  This effort concluded the council’s efforts for this year.  We will organize another clean up in the spring.  Afterwards, the group retired for a pleasant lunch and well deserved beverage!  Thanks to all who helped, and we hope to see more members in future clean up days.  More pictures after the break…
